Stickability

I really intend to make an effort to post more regularly - I just lack the "stickability" to do things on a regular basis sometimes.

Today was the second day of my resolution to cycle to work.  I really must get a decent bike with a skirt guard though before I come a cropper!  I managed to get soaked to the skin in an April shower on the way in to work and so arrived soggy and poodle haired.

Had to go to Post Office for 300 stamps, which with their usual efficiency no single till was able to provide - nearly got lynched by long queue of other custmers for taking up three tills for far too long.

Then tottered off to purchase basket for bike, two loaves of bread and a snack before I starved loudly to death.

Managed to strap basket onto bike temporarily and commenced the homeward journey - only got skirt caught three times on this leg but managed to get absolutely drowned by torrential downpour - roll on May.

D has finally managed to turn off central heating before we all melted - apparently some valve was stuck which was why the radiators stayed on even the heating was switched off.  It is now blessedly cool and I am wearing a jumper.
